Poudre School District
The mission statement of Poudre school district is to “Educate,,,Every child, every day.” The vision of Poudre school district according to PSD’s website is as follows… Poudre School District exists to support and inspire every child to think, to learn, to care and to graduate prepared to be successful in a changing world. PSD includes 28 elementary schools, 8 middle schools, 4 comprehensive high schools, 6 option schools, 2 alternative high schools, and 3 charter schools. The programs provided in these schools include International Baccalaureate, Core Knowledge, Bilingual/Dual Language Immersion, Hybrid/Online, Expeditionary Learning, Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) along with extra-curriculars and athletics.
Lincoln Middle School

Jacob McCollum's Classroom
The classroom that I observed was an 8th grade language arts class. After the first quarter, the class was recognized as an honors class. There was approximately a 3/5 ratio of males to females.
